We know that going into a new place with new faces can be intimidating. This can especially be true when it comes to church. We would like to help you have a great experience here at First Baptist and hope that God might use our church and the church family to be a part of HIS work in your life, and the lives of your loved ones.

What Happens @ First Baptist?
Sunday Services (10:45am)
Service:
Our Sunday morning service is a time of music, singing, prayer, and Bible preaching and teaching. Our orchestra and musicians help to lead in a time of singing hymns and spiritual songs. We take time to interact with those around us. After the music part of the service, our kids age 4-grade 3 are dismissed to the childrens area for Jr. Church (more below). Our pastor then preaches a message from God's Word, which usually concludes with a challenge and opportunity to respond to the message. Our service usually lasts about 75 minutes.
Dress:
We are a church that has all sorts of people from different backgrounds and age groups. Many will be dressed in their Sunday best and many will be in more casual attire. We encourage you to dress comfortably for church.
Kids:
Kids are important to us! We have a number of ministries for the children on Sunday Mornings.
3 and Under:
We always are glad to provide safe, secure, clean, and caring nursery care for the little ones on Sunday mornings. Feel free to drop your little ones off in our new nursery/2s and 3s area. (Located downstairs near the north entrance to the church.) You are able to pick them up immediately following the service.
Age 4-Grade 3 (Jr. Church):
We are happy to have our children be a included in the music and singing portion of the service. After that, they are dismissed to the children's ministry area. (Located downstairs near the north entrance to the church.) There they will have their own time of song time, game time, and hear a lesson from God's Word to help them as they grow and follow Jesus. You are able to pick them up immediately following the service.
Sunday School (9:30 am)
We have age specific Sunday School classes for children and adults of every age.
Locations:
Under age 3: Nursery Drop Off - 1st Floor
Age 4- Grade 5: Childrens Area Drop Off - 1st Floor
Grades 6-8 (Middle Schoolers): 1st Floor
Grades 9-12 (SH Youth): Youth Room - 2nd Floor
Adult Classes:
Ambassadors: 2nd Floor
Bridge Class (young adults) 1st Floor near elevator
Berean Class: 1st Floor Fellowship Hall - (South side of building)
